Nissan Magnite AMT & Black Edition: Nissan India is planning to expand its sub-compact SUV Magnite lineup. Its new AMT variant and Black Edition are to be launched. This will give customers more options in the Magnite lineup. However, the official launch date is not known yet. It is expected that it can be brought to the market in October. That is, in the festive season, customers can be given new options in the Magnite lineup.
Currently, Nissan Magnite comes with two petrol engine options, which are 1.0L petrol (71bhp and 96Nm) and 1.0L turbocharged petrol (99bhp and 160Nm). The former engine comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the latter comes with a CVT automatic transmission. The upcoming 5-speed AMT gearbox is expected to be paired with the 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will improve the driving experience.
The upcoming Nissan Magnite Black Edition may be based on the top-end trim. Black-themed makeovers can be found both inside and out. Talking about the features, Magnite Black Edition will have all the premium features of high trim level. These include ‘Lightsaber style’ LED turn indicators, chrome on the rear quarter window molding and LED bi-projector headlamps.
It will get a sleek black interior theme, which will include black fabric seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 360-degree camera, Nissan Connect connected car technology, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice recognition control, keyless entry. There will be features like 7-inch digital instrument cluster and tire pressure monitoring system. It will compete with cars like Brezza and Nexon in the market.
