Indian Railway News:There is big news for thousands and lakhs of passengers traveling by train. Indian Railways has planned to make massive changes in passenger amenities. Under this, it has been decided to close the inquiry center present at the railway stations.

There is a plan to open cooperation counter instead of inquiry counter. Indian Railways is going to make structural changes under the plan to provide all types of facilities under one roof. Inquiry centers working under the old model at all railway stations of the country including Patna Junction will be closed and Sahyog counters will be opened in its place.

Indian Railways has decided to make many changes regarding the facilities of the passengers. Efforts are being made to provide all facilities under one roof at the railway station for the convenience of the passengers. It has also been decided to close the old time-run inquiry counters at all stations of the country including East Central Railway.

It has been agreed to open a new ‘Sahyog Counter’ by closing the working inquiry counters at all the stations of the country including Patna Junction. Under the cooperation counter, it has been decided to provide all types of passenger facilities under one roof. In this regard, a letter has been sent by the Railway Board to all the zones and instructions have been given to start the cooperation counter soon.

If any passenger wants to go somewhere and get information about the train for that place, then such passengers can directly reach the cooperation counter and get complete information.

Now there will be cooperation counters at the railway station

The cooperation counter will also give information from where the passenger will get the platform ticket or general ticket at the station. After the reservation chart is out, information like whether the berth of a passenger has been confirmed, how much is their waiting list can also be made available from here. After the chart is out of any train, information about the status of availability of berths in it will also be available from this counter.

Railway officials claim that this counter will prove to be very useful. Considering the possibility of overcrowding at this counter, efforts are being made to make it completely hi-tech. Efforts will be made to provide complete information to any passenger on a single click. The extent to which the passengers are able to accept this initiative of the railways, it will be known in the coming days, but there is enthusiasm among the railway administration and railway workers for this.
