The story of Dongre Revaiya alias Revanth is no less than an inspiration. Dongre Revaiah qualified the UPSC Exam 2022 and has secured 410 rank out of total 1000 candidates who qualified the exam. Revaiya has done all this while battling poverty and working to improve her family conditions.
Dongre Revaiah comes from a family that has been struggling with poverty for years. After his father died due to prolonged illness, Dongre’s mother started working as a mid-day meal cook in a government school, barely making ends meet.
Dongre Revaiya’s mother sent him and his siblings to school. However, the IAS officer worked hard on his education and cracked the IIT JEE exam and took admission in IIT Madras.
Even after getting admission in IIT Madras, Dongre had little or no hope of getting into the institute due to lack of funds and economic instability. But with help from the district administration, he finally fulfilled his dream of going to IIT.
Let us tell you that Revaiya belongs to the Dalit community and is from a small town in Telangana. After completing his engineering, he also cleared the GATE exam and eventually got a high paying job in Hyderabad. However, he did not want to compromise on anything less than civil services.
Therefore, Dongre Revaiya succeeded in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 and secured 410th rank. He is currently undergoing training and will soon be appointed as a government officer, which will make his entire family and the Dalit community proud of him.
