ASP Manish Kumar of Phulwari Sharif said that after raiding an office being run in Nayatola, two suspects have been arrested. One accused is retired from the post of Inspector of Jharkhand Police, whose name is Mohammad Jalaluddin and the name of the other accused is Athar Parvez. Both the accused are associated with PFI.

The ASP said that Jalaluddin was earlier associated with the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). He told that in the name of teaching martial arts at Jalaluddin’s house, terrorists were given training and they were instigated to spread religious hysteria.

Manish Kumar said that after the raids conducted on the basis of intelligence, many documents, flags, pamphlets, booklets have been recovered, which is related to the mission. Some documents have also been found in which there is mention of making India an Islamic nation by 2047.

It is being told that people used to come and go here from many other states as well. These people used to stay in Patna hotels by hiding their identity. Funding papers have also been received from other countries to run this group. According to sources, the accused also used to help the arrested people of SIMI in getting bail. Used to attend SIMI and PFI meetings.

The brother of the accused was involved in the Patna bomb blast incident

Arrested Athar’s brother Manjar Parvez was involved in the terrorist incident of bomb blast in Patna and is currently in jail. The ASP said that the police is now conducting a more thorough investigation and their more connected wires are being searched.
