CBSE Board Exam 2024 Date sheet: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule of practical examinations for class 10th and 12th board exams. Practical examinations are scheduled to start from January 1, 2024. However, winter-bound schools will start their practical examinations on November 14, 2023 and the examinations will end on December 14, 2023. Let us tell you that the early start of examinations in these schools accommodates the unique schedules and requirements of these schools.

Exams will be held on this day

Apart from this, the theory examinations of the board will start from February 15, 2024, which will end on April 10, 2024. Let us tell you that CBSE usually releases the complete datesheet of board examinations about two months before the commencement of the examination. This allows students to organize their study schedules and ensure that they are well prepared.

Practical examinations have special importance

Practical examinations hold special importance in deciding the marking scheme of students because they carry 30 marks in the final assessment. In such a situation, students should ensure to submit assignments, projects and other internal assessments on time, which play an important role in determining their total grades.

Board released marking scheme

Earlier, the board had also released the marking scheme for both theory and practical examinations of class 10th and 12th. As per the marking scheme, the maximum marks allotted for each subject is 100 with distribution of marks between Theory, Practical, Projects and Internal Assessment components. Marking scheme has been released for 83 subjects for class 10th and 121 subjects for class 12th.
