Earlier the name of the film was The Great Indian Rescue but recently its title has been changed to Mission Raniganj. This is a film based on a real story. In which Akshay will be seen in the role of mine engineer Jaswant Singh Gill. In 1989, a coal mine was flooded due to which many miners were trapped several feet below and were rescued by the bravery and wisdom of Jaswant Singh Gill.
It is said that this was India’s most difficult mission till date. Which was completed. This film is going to be released in theaters on 6th October. Akshay has always looked amazing in the films of this genre, which is why a lot of expectations are being expressed from this film too.
