This video going viral on social media is said to be of August 9 when Ghulam Nabi Azad had reached Doda to address a program. In his address, Azad said, ‘Islam was born 1500 years ago. No one is an outsider in India. We all belong to this country. The Muslims of India were originally Hindus, who later converted.
Religion should not be mixed with politics: Azad
According to reports, in this speech given in Doda, Azad reiterated his point and said, ‘600 years ago there were only Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir. Then many people converted and became Muslims. Therefore, now all the people are requested to maintain brotherhood, peace and unity among themselves. At the same time, Azad also said that religion should not be mixed with politics. People should not vote in the name of religion.
