Assembly Election Results 2023: BJP seems jubilant after the victory in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. This has further strengthened the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Assembly Election Results 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in the Rajya Sabha last year, ‘One alone is greater than many.’ On Sunday (December 3), when the results of the assembly elections of three states known as Hindi Heartland were revealed, this statement appeared to be proved true. BJP has won in all the three states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. This is also special because BJP had contested the elections without declaring the chief ministerial face.
BJP’s slogan in Madhya Pradesh was ‘Modi in MP’s mind’. This slogan was not limited only to Madhya Pradesh, but its impact was visible in other states also. Instead of contesting elections on a single face, the party contested on the basis of collective leadership, which resulted in victory. The election results can also be seen as a vote for ‘Modi’s guarantee’. This tagline was used by BJP to counter the guarantees of Congress in the manifesto.
When was ‘Modi’s guarantee’ talked about for the first time?
According to the Times of India report, the PM used ‘Modi’s Guarantee’ for the first time during the unveiling of Bharat Mandapam. This worked to prepare the atmosphere for the assembly elections. Party leaders also emphasized everywhere that the promises made through PM Modi are definitely fulfilled. The survey also revealed that people were trusting Modi’s guarantee more than the guarantee given by Congress.
Keep an eye on Nehru’s record
The election results have also confirmed that the public has full faith in PM Modi. His credibility among the people is also intact. The election victory in three states has come at a time when Lok Sabha elections are going to be held next year. Somewhere, PM Modi is keeping an eye on the record of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. If BJP wins the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi will have a chance to become Prime Minister for the third consecutive time.
