Most of the lamps were lit at Ram Ki Paidi on the banks of river Saryu. The previous record of more than 18 lakh 81 thousand lamps in the Deepotsav in Ayodhya was recorded in the Guinness World Records. Counting of lamps has been done through drone cameras.
