Boat capsizes in Bihar: A major accident occurred in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar on Tuesday morning. Many children are missing after a boat capsized in the Bagmati river here. It is being told that there were 33 children on this boat, all of whom were going to school.
However, according to news agency ANI, Muzaffarpur Disaster Management Officer Ajay Kumar said, ’10 people are reported missing, so far 15-20 people have been rescued. The search operation is going on.

Earlier, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar told the media that senior district officials including the District Magistrate have been instructed to go to the accident site. The Chief Minister said, ‘The rescue operation is going on… I have asked the concerned District Magistrate to look into the matter immediately. The state government will provide all assistance to the affected families.

Muzaffarpur DM has said that this incident happened between 10.30-11 am today. He said that NDRF and SDRF teams have reached the accident site.
