Earthquake News : Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. This earthquake came at a time when people were sleeping in deep sleep late at night. As soon as people felt the tremors in Lucknow and the surrounding area, people came out of their homes. However, no damage has been reported so far in the strong tremors of the earthquake. The magnitude of this earthquake was measured at 5.2 on the Richter scale.

Earthquake News: In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the earth shook late in the night due to the strong tremors of the earthquake. Strong tremors of earthquake were felt late night in many nearby districts including Lucknow. The shock was so strong that people felt it even in deep sleep, after which many people were seen coming out of the house. The earthquake, which occurred at around 1.12 pm, measured 5.2 on the Richter scale. Its center was 139 km from Lucknow in the north-northeast at a depth of 82 km.

Actually, this earthquake occurred in the capital Lucknow, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri and Bareilly at a time when people were sleeping in deep sleep late at night. In these areas, as soon as people felt the tremors of the earthquake, people came out of their homes. However, no damage has been reported so far in the strong tremors of the earthquake. But people were shocked by this earthquake.

Some people of these areas told that this earthquake was so strong that many items kept in the houses kept shaking for a long time. However, due to Janmashtami, many people were awake late at night in pandals and houses. As soon as the earthquake struck, people were seen coming out on the streets in panic.

Not only Lucknow, tremors of earthquake were felt in Lakhimpur Kheri for 20 seconds. People were shocked by the tremors of the earthquake that occurred at 1:15 pm and panicked and came out of the house. The car parked in the house was seen shaking during the earthquake in the CCTV camera installed in the house. It is being told that people felt the tremors of the earthquake in the entire Terai area.

Do’s and Don’ts in an Earthquake

  1. If you are inside a building, then sit on the floor and go under some strong furniture. If there is no table or such furniture, then cover your face and head with your hands and sit by hiding in any corner of the room.
  2. If you are outside the building, then move away from the building, trees, pillars and wires.
  3. If you are traveling in a vehicle, stop the vehicle as soon as possible and stay inside the vehicle.
  4. If you are buried in a pile of rubble, then never light a match, neither move nor push anything.
  5. In case of being buried under debris, lightly pat on a pipe or wall, so that rescuers can understand your position. If you have a whistle, play it.
