G20 Summit 2023: A beautiful picture of Indian democracy was seen in the dinner of G20 Summit. Here all the leaders of the party and the opposition spent a good time with the foreign leaders. A picture has become a topic of discussion on social media. In this picture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen introducing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to US President Joe Biden.
fallback After the conclusion of the first day of the G20 summit, President Draupadi Murmu hosted a dinner for the G20 leaders on Saturday evening. In which top leaders of the group including US President Joe Biden participated. The government had sent invitations to the Chief Ministers of all the states to participate in the event to be held at ‘Bharat Mandapam’ in New Delhi, the venue of the G20 summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the leaders who reached the venue and interacted briefly with them in the backdrop of the image of Nalanda University in the reception area. The Prime Minister was seen explaining the importance of the image to the respective leaders, as he had done before the start of the summit when he welcomed the leaders with Odisha’s Konark Chakra in the background.
The Prime Minister shared pictures from the dinner on his Instagram account on Sunday. He met opposition leaders including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. The Prime Minister introduced Nitish Kumar and Hemant Soren to US President Joe Biden. PM Modi was also seen chatting with Sukhu at the dinner.
This picture is also special because this was Nitish Kumar’s first meeting with PM Modi after separating from BJP. JD (U) broke ties with BJP last year and joined the grand alliance and formed the government with RJD and other opposition parties. Nitish Kumar is also leading the opposition unity. He is part of the opposition’s I.N.D.I.A alliance which aims to oust the Modi government from power in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Let us tell you that in the grand dinner hosted by President Draupadi Murmu, India showcased its diverse musical heritage to the world. It saw the use of traditional music from across the country. The main attraction was ‘Gandharva Atodyam’. It is a unique musical fusion comprising an exquisite symphony of musical instruments from across India, performing Hindustani, Carnatic, folk and contemporary music along with an ensemble of classical instruments.
