Janmashtami Puja Method
On Janmashtami, wake up in the morning, take bath etc. and keep fast for the whole day. Bath Lord Krishna with Ganges water and milk, and wear new clothes and adorn him with peacock crown, flute, Vaijayanti garland, Kundli, Tulsi Dal, Kundal etc. Decorate the swing of Lord Krishna with flower garlands. In worship, offer fruits, flowers, makhana, butter, sugar candy, sweets, dry fruits etc. to Shri Krishna and light incense-lamps.
