Maharashtra Political Crisis

Maharashtra Political Crisis: Eknath Shinde may be seen at the center of the political crisis that started in Maharashtra, but if you look carefully, then there is family politics at its base. Which believes in running the parties established in the name of democracy like a private company.

Maharashtra Political Crisis: In a democracy, the path has become difficult for political parties with private families. Far from principles, the results of manipulations to stay in the chair are visible in Maharashtra. The challenge of land-based leaders to dynastic princes shakes the foundations of the parties.

The breakdown in the Shiv Sena, a major constituent of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government of Maharashtra, has once again exposed the weaknesses of dynastic politics. When a family treats its party as a private property and runs it like a company, then the state or the country cannot remain stable for long. The way Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray left the Chief Minister’s residence overnig

ht after being challenged within the party, it shows that he does not believe in his own leadership ability. With this, disintegration has started appearing in the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Sanjay Raut has said that if the rebels want, the party can consider exiting the MVA.

working like family special

In fact, all the three parties running the coalition government in Maharashtra seemed to be working like family-specific companies, not a group of democratic people.

Like the Shiv Sena and the Thackeray family, the NCP and the Pawar family are synonymous in Maharashtra, their ally Congress cannot look beyond the Gandhi-Nehru family for leadership. The result is more or less a leadership crisis in all three parties.

The weak leadership of Shiv Sena had emerged in the last assembly elections of Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar, who is called Chanakya, took advantage of the same weakness.

Even though Uddhav became the Chief Minister, everyone felt that the remote of the government was with Pawar and his party. The result of the same has come out in the form of Eknath Shinde.

Where is Congress in this uproar?

The position of Congress in Maharashtra is that there is no solid leadership at the state level and Delhi is looked at before taking every step. The role of any state leader is also not visible to handle the current crisis.

Kamal Nath, who had seen this state of breakdown of the party as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, was rushed here to handle the MLAs. All the reins of NCP are in the hands of Sharad Pawar and only his voice is heard.

In such a situation, all the three parties, being run like companies, have suddenly fallen into trouble in Maharashtra due to the move of Eknath Shinde.

danger to other parties

Well, this situation is not only in Maharashtra. Except BJP, the condition of other national or regional parties is that they are running like a private limited company of one family. In UP, the Samajwadi Party is considered the property of the Yadav family. There is no one in Bahujan Samaj Party after Mayawati.

Pt. Mamata and her nephew in Bengal, Chautala in Haryana, Badal in Punjab, Patnaik in Odisha to DMK in Tamil Nadu are few examples of such politics.

Congress is also facing crisis

Political experts believe that such parties are able to maintain an impact on the public either till the existence of the founders or till the small political objectives are fulfilled. After that they come down.

As is happening with Shiv Sena these days. But in Maharashtra, the same danger is also for NCP in future. Congress is facing this crisis at the national level.
