Murder by calling in fitness club
Valparaiso police said other gym members had invited them to the Planet Fitness Club at 1270 Strongbow Center Drive. Last Sunday, around 9 am (local time), Varun was attacked and made to sit on a massage chair. Police said they found a large amount of blood and a folding knife on the counter.
The folding knife belonged to Andrade with which he used to open boxes at the Menards store. Andrade said he acted defensively against the other man and used the knife. However, other gym goers described Varun as a calm person. People said that he was only concerned with himself.
The accused is a former high school football player
However, Andrade thought Varun was “a little weird” and considered him a threat when he entered the gym’s massage room. The attacker described Varun as “small” and claimed that he is a former high school football player who is capable of lifting 117 kg. At present the investigation of this entire matter is going on.
